After our beginnings with our first platform, Vliegen en Parkeren in the Netherlands in 2013, we have rapidly grown with platforms in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Australia and now the UK and Ireland! The UK platform, Parkhero, was launched on 14th January 2019, bringing the number of ROOSH platforms to 11.
The UK market has huge potential for airport parking, as it has some of Europe’s busiest airports and a varied offering of airport parking services. Parkhero gives customers the opportunity to find, compare and book parking at 20 airports across the UK and Ireland. This includes all major London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City), Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin and many more.
For each airport we sell a unique combination of parking services from different providers. There are 3 main types of parking available – official parking services, Park and Ride and Meet and Greet. Official parking services are provided by the airport and are usually onsite within the airport perimeter. They are often within walking distance of the terminals or provide a shuttle service. Park and Ride services are often off-site from external providers. Customers park their car themselves and jump on a regular shuttle to the airport. The car parks are usually between 10 and 20 minutes from the terminal. Meet and Greet services are also off-site car parking services. Customers can simply drop their car off at the terminal and it will be parked for them in a secure car park off-site. When they return their car is waiting where they dropped it off.
Parkhero, just like our other platforms, allows customers to easily compare parking services and save money on their holiday. They simply need to enter their travel dates and parking preferences and the platform will show them live exactly what is available.
