ROOSH is een Nederlands e-commerce bedrijf in Eindhoven, opgericht in 2013. Via onze sites vergelijken en boeken consumenten parkeerplaatsen bij vliegvelden in Europa, Australië en de USA! Op het moment zijn we op zoek naar een medior backend developer voor ons platform gebouwd in PHP/Laravel, TypeScript en Go. Je versterkt ons internationale team van (op dit moment) 18 mensen. Het team bestaat voornamelijk uit online marketeers en tech experts.

 De functie:

Je sluit aan bij een klein scrum team waar je werkt aan een set backend systemen die de basis van ons platform vormen. Sommige van deze systemen zijn gebouwd in PHP/Laravel, andere in TypeScript of Go. Het platform heeft een state of the art microservice architectuur als fundament, met stricte scheiding tussen frontend, backend, gateways en (micro)services.

Als medior developer in een klein team krijg je volop kansen om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen richting senior niveau. Ervaring met TypeScript of Go is welkom maar niet vereist. Wij zorgen voor training en mentoring.

Op dagelijkse basis werk je samen met een medior frontend developer en onze CTO. Dit in een omgeving waar het delen van kennis de norm is en leren van fouten wordt gezien als een positieve ervaring.

Verantwoordelijkheden:

• Implementeren van backend user story taken in PHP/Laravel, TypeScript en Go;
• Brainstormen met het team om slimme en efficiënte oplossingen te bedenken;
• Actief bewaken van de integriteit en kwaliteit van de codebase.

Profieleisen:

• Minstens 3 jaar ervaring als PHP/Laravel backend developer;
• Sterke analytische skills en een kritische houding;
• Interesse in het leren van TypeScript en Go.

Medior backend developer (PHP / TypeScript / Go) [In English]

ROOSH is a Dutch e-commerce company established in Eindhoven, which was founded in 2013. We run platforms through which consumers can compare and book car parks at airports in Europe, Australia and USA! We are looking for a medior backend developer for our platform built in PHP/Laravel, TypeScript and Go. You will strengthen our current international team consisting of 18 people (and expanding). The team is made up of (mainly) online marketeers and tech experts from all over the world!

 The job:

You will be joining a small scrum team where you’ll work on a variety of backend systems which are at the core of our platform. Some of these systems are built in PHP/Laravel, others in TypeScript or Go. The platform is set up on a state of the art microservice architecture with strict separation of frontend, backend, gateways and (micro)services.

As a medior level developer in a small team you’ll get all the chances to develop yourselves towards a senior level position. Any previous experience with TypeScript and/or Go is welcome but not required. We’ll provide training and mentoring.

You’ll work directly with a medior frontend developer and our CTO in an environment where sharing knowledge is the norm and learning from mistakes is seen as a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing backend user story tasks in PHP/Laravel, TypeScript and Go;
• Brainstorming with the team to design smart and efficient solutions;
• Actively participating in maintaining a high level of code quality.

 Profile / Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a PHP/Laravel backend developer;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• Curiosity towards learning TypeScript and Go.
